The gradual expansion of Synona consanguinea(Coccinellidae)was recorded in areas surrounding Tokyo and Osaka from 2014 to 2020. The current distribution of Trachymela sloanei(Chrysomellidae)in three megalopolis and Laccoptera quadrifolia(Chrysomellidae)within Kinki District are also recorded. The locations of host plants, which the exotic leaf beetles have not yet reached, are described to allow for future calculation of the expansion rate of distribution. The points to keep in mind when conducting a citizen survey in the Internet Era are mentioned.},
